Business Kuusamo, the revitalized version of the Naturpolis 1 building located at Torangintaival 4, has emerged as a beacon of modernity and community-centric workspace in Kuusamo city. This collaborative initiative between Kuusamo city and Naturpolis aims to create a versatile business space catering to the needs of various stakeholders in the region. The rebranded Business Kuusamo is now open for leasing, offering a range of modern facilities to support diverse business activities.

The newly renovated Naturpolis 1 building boasts contemporary amenities designed to meet the demands of today’s businesses. The premises feature 18 13.5 square meter office rooms available for full-time rental on a monthly basis. Additionally, there are three remote workspaces that can be rented on a daily or hourly basis, along with meeting rooms equipped with wireless connectivity. Larger organizations have the option to lease multiple rooms simultaneously, with access to spacious social and meeting areas at no extra cost. These communal spaces are ideal for hosting various events, as witnessed during a recent cocktail gathering held on the premises.

A Vision for Innovation and Collaboration

Project Manager Olli Laitinen expresses satisfaction with the collaborative efforts shaping the future of Business Kuusamo. The building will soon host a range of activities, including the Kuusamo Showroom, showcasing the bio- and circular economy hub Kuubio, investment opportunities in Ruka, and the future of Kuusamo’s forestry and wood sector. The on-site business incubator offers a platform for designing and developing business ideas in consultation with experts, while the AI Fab Lab facilitates the creation of new products and prototypes. The goal is to showcase the region’s potential and services comprehensively, fostering a supportive environment for various stakeholders.
